Helisota UAB certified according to the requirements of the European Commission

Helisota UAB, expanding its business activities, has successfully assimilated maintenance of Robinson R44, popular four-seat helicopter, produced by the Robinson Helicopter Company, USA.

In July, 2007, Helisota UAB was awarded a Certificate of authorized maintenance centre issued by the Robinson Helicopter Company. The Certificate states that maintenance performed by the company meets all the requirements raised by the manufacturer for quality.

While preparing for certification according to the requirements of the Regulations (EB) No. 2042/2003 of the European Commission, Part 145, special premises have been equipped at the production facilities of the company, necessary equipment acquired, spare parts and technical documentation stocked, specialists trained, and a new Maintenance Manual issued.

Lithuanian CAA, following the requirements of the Regulations, on December 5, 2007 issued the Certificate No. LT.145.012 to Helisota UAB. It certifies that Helisota UAB is a maintenance centre approved in accordance with Part 145 requirements and is authorized to perform line and base maintenance on Robinson R44, as well as issue airworthiness certificates. For performance of maintenance on Robinson R44 helicopters the company has certified personnel, full set of instruments and necessary amount of spares in stock.

Helisota UAB became the eighth maintenance agency approved by the Lithuanian CAA according to the requirements of Part 145 of the European Commission Regulations.
