Helisota UAB and 12 more companies engaged in aviation sector activities, namely in flights, tourism, aviation training, aircraft maintenance, ground service, etc. rallied into Lithuanian Aviation Association (www.aia.lt).

The UK Ministry of Defence has lifted the veil on a previously secretive helicopter training service being provided to future Afghan national security force pilots.

For the last few years, Helisota UAB has been trying to become an International level maintenance and training organization capable to prepare aviation specialists as there is no same level training facilities in the neighbouring states. Company has prepared training material, program, questionnaires, training guides and presented them to Lithuanian CAA for approval. All presented documents have been checked and approved.

In November 2009, by decision of the Presidium of Lithuanian Industrialists Confederation Nina Kuriene, Chief Accountant of Helisota Ltd., was awarded the “Career Knight” nomination for many years of work and devotion to her profession. N. Kuriene who is working in the Company since its foundation was awarded a “Career Knight” badge and Certificate signed by the President of Lithuanian Industrialists Confederation.
